Cook's Note
If you like, you can add a squeeze of fresh lemon juice before sprinkling with Parmesan cheese. Toasted pine nuts also make a delicious addition.

Exactly what the title says. Made this but substituted 2 minced cloves of fresh garlic for garlic salt, and added some previously-cooked chicken. Delicious!

When I make this, I use equal amounts of earth balance vegan butter and olive oil, 4 cloves of garlic-smashed and roughly chopped and rinsed baby spinach. Heat the oil and butter over med high heat in a dutch oven, sauté the garlic and add the still damp spinach and toss spinach until the desired doneness. I use a whole clamshell of spinach from Costco. Everyone loves it, even meat eaters!

I replaced garlic salt with garlic powder because i dont like salt and added chilli seasoning. I also added the cheese halfway rather then at the end so it would get crispy (turned out as intended!) Cooked it for slightly less time than in the recipe because i was hungry. Ate with scrambled eggs. Best breakfast ever! 5 stars because i am a cooking amateur and physically incapable of judging if there is room for improvement. Photo looks rank but trust me it looked great in real life.

What I like about this dish is it is simple an tasty. I modified slightly and first added one large clove of fresh minced garlic to the olive oil for a minute or so before adding the spinach. I also don't like the spinach over cooked so I only saute for 6 minutes or so. I use kosher salt because it is less salty.

I sauteed 4 garlic cloves (I love garlic) in 1 tablespoon of butter and 2 teaspoons of olive oil. Once garlic was fragrant I added spinach and cooked for 6 minutes, added fresh parm, tossed. It came out perfectly. Will definitely try this again.

It is not that much more work to use fresh sliced garlic, so that's what I did. I used three cloves and let it cook in the oil before adding the spinach. When the garlic pieces started to sizzle, I added the spinach leaves and salt.

I used 2tsp of olive oil and 1tsp of butter. Instead of garlic salt I used minced garlic, with a pinch of sea salt and pepper. Cooked for 5m. 10m is too long, I was weary it'll be mushy and brown. Sprinkled a little shredded parmesan just to taste.

I sautéed fresh garlic in the olive oil until fragrant, add spinach, salt to taste, add cheese.

I tossed my baby spinach in garlic-infused olive oil so the leaves would be more evenly coated once in the saute pan. I also splashed in a little seasoned vinegar, garlic powder and a pinch of sea salt. I found 10 minutes was too long for the texture I wanted, so next time, I'll simply heat through (4-5 minutes). I added this spinach, along with some roasted cherry tomatoes, into pesto-tossed angel hair pasta and topped with parmesan cheese. Delish! Will make again with my modifications.

Ten minutes is far too long to cook this! Add the spinach a handful at a time, quickly tossing with tongs and adding another handful as the spinach wilts. Eliminate the garlic salt and use fresh minced garlic toward the end (so as not to burn it) for best flavor.

It was easy and delicious! I am lactose intolerant sadly, so I had to use nutritional yeast in place of parmesan. I also did the salt and garlic powder separate to adjust as per my taste.

I made this using an 11 ounce box of washed baby spinach leaves. I used a 6 quart kettle, and added two tablespoons of butter a generous sprinkling of garlic salt (but no where near the amount called for), and some freshly ground mixed black pepper. I used maybe a generous tablespoon of parmesan cheese. It made two adult size portions of spinach and was very tasty. If you want to stretch this out to 4 servings, you would need some sides, or a large portion of a main dish. But, it was a lot tastier than plain boiled spinach.

I would not add any garlic salt, I would add garlic Powder less sodium in this product. I little mesquite seasoning or liquid smoke.

So easy and quick. The last thing you cook for a larger meal since it takes almost no time and is totally reliable. Bag baby spinach works well.
