Ingredients (for 4 servings):
- 1 pound ground turkey
- cup Italian bread crumbs
- cup thinly sliced baby spinach
- 1 large egg
- 2 tablespoons onion powder
- 2 tablespoons garlic powder
Directions:
Step 1: Preheat your oven to 375F (190C).
Step 2: In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground turkey, Italian bread crumbs, spinach, egg, onion powder, and garlic powder. Mix everything together thoroughly until well combined.

Step 6: Once cooked, remove the meatballs from the oven and let them rest for a few minutes before serving. Enjoy!

I absolutely adored these meatballs! I decided to use only 1 teaspoon of garlic and onion powder, and it turned out to be just perfect for our taste. Instead of fresh spinach, I used frozen/thawed chopped spinach. I opted for 1/2 cup, but you could go for 1/4 cup if you need to sneak in some veggies for the kids, although 1/2 cup wasn't overwhelming. Concerning the feedback on dryness, I resolved to cover the dish with foil for half of the cooking time and then removed it for the remaining duration to achieve a nice browning. I baked them in an 8x8 dish and ended up with 16 meatballs that were moist and flavorful. Surprisingly, they tasted even better for lunch the following day. These meatballs are sure to become a staple in our household!

At times, you need to tweak a recipe. I included fresh garlic and onion, along with Italian dried herbs and freshly grated Parmesan cheese. This recipe is a keeper. Absolutely loved it!

This dish tastes terrible!! Disregard the positive reviews. The excessive amount of onion and garlic powder makes it absolutely dreadful. The spinach contributes a bitter taste. Avoid following the original recipe. Disgusting!!
