Hidden Valley Baked Ranch Chicken Recipe
Ingredients
This recipe was created to yield 4 servings. Ingredients can be scaled, but cooking steps remain the same. Note that not all recipes scale perfectly.
- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 2 tablespoons melted butter
- 2 teaspoons Hidden Valley Original Ranch Salad Dressing and Seasoning Mix
Directions
Step 1: Preheat your oven to 425F (220C).
Step 2: If you prefer thinner chicken breasts, place them between two sheets of heavy plastic on a solid, level surface. Gently pound each breast with the smooth side of a meat mallet until about 3/4-inch thick.
Step 3: Arrange the chicken breasts in a large baking dish. Brush both sides with melted butter, then sprinkle evenly with the ranch seasoning mix. Pour any remaining butter over the top.
Step 4: Bake in the preheated oven for 18-20 minutes, or until the chicken is no longer pink in the center and juices run clear. An instant-read thermometer inserted in the center should reach at least 165F (74C).
Step 5: Remove the chicken from the oven and allow it to rest for a few minutes before serving.
Recipe Tip
You can substitute olive oil for butter if you prefer a lighter option.

My picky husband LOVED it! Had to increase cooking time though.
