Spicy Peach-Glazed Pork Chops Recipe
Ingredients
- 1 cup peach preserves
- 1 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
- teaspoon chile paste
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 4 boneless pork chops
- 1 teaspoon ground ginger
- 1 pinch ground cinnamon
- Salt and pepper to taste
- cup white wine
Directions
Step 1: In a small bowl, combine peach preserves, Worcestershire sauce, and chile paste. Set aside for later use.
Step 2: Heat the vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
Step 3: Rinse the pork chops and pat them dry with paper towels. Sprinkle both sides of the chops with ground ginger, cinnamon, salt, and pepper.
Step 4: Once the oil is hot, sear the pork chops in the skillet, cooking them for about 2 minutes per side until lightly browned. Remove the chops from the skillet and set aside.
Step 5: Pour the white wine into the skillet, scraping the browned bits from the bottom of the pan with a wooden spoon.
Step 6: Stir in the peach preserves mixture and allow it to heat through, creating a smooth sauce.
Step 7: Return the seared pork chops to the skillet, flipping them to coat in the sauce.
Step 8: Reduce the heat to medium-low and cook the pork chops for about 8 minutes per side, or until the centers are no longer pink. An instant-read thermometer should register at least 145F (63C) in the center of the chops.

Delicious flavors! Cooking the nearly 1-inch chops for 8 minutes on each side was perfect. For thinner chops, I recommend reducing the cooking time. I swapped in some apricot jam I had on hand and added a full teaspoon of chili paste for extra spiciness. Definitely trying this recipe again.

I used a Drunken Peach Preserve that contained bourbon and peaches for this recipe. The dish turned out delicious with the addition of the listed spices. I will definitely be making this again!

This recipe is absolutely irresistible! I opted for thick pork chops, which did require a bit longer cooking time than what the recipe suggested. I highly recommend using a meat thermometer to ensure the meat is cooked to perfection.
