3.30.19 I just knew this was going to be good, and I wasn't wrong. By all means, remove the chops from the pot after cooking is complete, and thicken the juices for an an awesome gravy/sauce. Apple juice and dry onion soup mix, what's not to like here, just knew it would be outstanding? I used boneless chops that were about 3/4" thick and threw in a few chunked gold yukon potatoes that cooked up beautifully. The only deviation from the recipe was that I seared the chops right at the beginning using the Sauté function for about 2 minutes per side just to get some color (for better eye appeal/presentation) and certainly would do that again. Very nice, tasty, and very easy dinner.

This turned out very tasty! I gave it 4 stars because I used center cut pork chops and they were kind of dr as usual. And I did not have Lipton onion mix so I substituted Knorr garden vegetable soup mix packet, and a small can of sliced mushrooms and some tiny carrots. I thickened sauce with cornstarch afterward. Served over chops and rice. Turned out DELICIOUS!

Delicious & we love it. I used the base recipe and added sliced can mushrooms, cubed potatoes,sliced onions and a little chili power for a kick.I browned the chops a little on each side,took them out and sauteed the veggies. Gravy was very good, had to thicken it with corn starch. Will be making this again.

No apple juice on hand, so thin sliced an apple and small white onion, added onion dried powder, dried garlic powder, home-dried green onion tops powder, German Thyme, ground black pepper and sea salt, maple syrup and water to make a broth. Let Sauté until onion/apple slightly softened. First, on sauté, in avocado oil browned the chops for about 30 seconds each side because they were very thin. Removed chops before added the above apple/onion ingredients. Added chops back to mixture and pressure cooked 10 minutes. Released steam, removed chops. Added frozen broccoli and pressure cooked 2 minutes. Released steam. Delicious. My husband eats only roasted broccoli loved this version!

Wow!! What a Great Quick Dinner. I would have given it 5 stars but I sauteed an onion first and placed the chops on top of the onion,,, because we really like onions. And I threw in some red potatoes on top of the chops as was suggested. DELICIOUS!!!

Next time I make this, I’ll brown the pork chops first. I made “Dry Onion Soup Mix” from this site since I didn’t have any and it turned out great. Like others, I too made a gravy from the juices in the pot. It was really good served on rice.

Very Good will make again I did change it slightly. I used a crock pot. Made 6 chops. Only used 2 Tbsp butter. At the end I removed the chops and thickened the liquid with some flour. I then put the chops back for another 20 min. Served over white rice. Delicious

My husband and I really enjoyed this easy tasty dish. I browned the chops in the instant pot first then added some carrots, Lipton’s Savory Herb and Garlic dry soup mix and the apple juice. I cooked them on high pressure for 10 mins because my chops were quite thick. After cooking I thickened the sauce with a corn starch and water slurry then served them with mashed potatoes. The meal was really good. Thanks for such an easy week day dinner.

Easy, tasty way to make pork chops. I took mine directly from the freezer, and into the pot! added 10 minutes to the cook time and they were perfect! I added 4 small garden potatoes and they absorbed the onion soup mix flavor and were delicious with butter.

Very good! I made minor changes. I sautéed the chops in the Instant Pot. Used pineapple juice instead of apple (because that's what I had on hand!) Added 1/4 tsp Kitchen Bouquet to the sauce to make a darker gravy, thickened it with a tbs of flour dissolved in a little water. I also cooked some sliced carrots in with the chops. A keeper!

The only thing I did differently was to add some chopped onion. I used golden onion Lipton soup. It is an easy delicious meal. Will definitely make again. It is especially going into my fall cooking menu because of the hint of apple flavoring. Loved the gravy over mashed potatoes ! Thank you for a delicious easy meal.

Very simple, but came out great. I threw in a few golden potatoes that also tasted good. I wish it told how to thicken the juices in the pot to make better gravy.
