Super Simple Perfect Chocolate Ganache Recipe

Chocolate Ganache

Ingredients

  • cup heavy whipping cream
  • 1 cup semisweet chocolate chips

Directions

  1. Pour the cream into a microwave-safe bowl and heat it in the microwave on high for 1 to 2 minutes, or until very hot.
  2. Add the chocolate chips to the heated cream and whisk until smooth.
  3. Place the chocolate-cream mixture in the freezer and let it cool, stirring every 5 minutes. It should begin to thicken in about 10 to 12 minutes.
  4. Spoon the ganache into a resealable plastic bag and refrigerate until it is completely cooled, for about 15 to 30 minutes.
  5. Once cooled, cut a small corner from the plastic bag and pipe the ganache as desired.

Recipe Tip

Dont worry if the mixture seems thin at first. It will thicken as it cools.
