Excellent creamy fudge! I recommend placing parchment or waxed paper in the pan before pouring the fudge so you can easily lift it out for cutting. Thanks for the fantastic recipe!

Here's a revised version of the review: I have a couple of tips to enhance your fudge making experience. Firstly, when boiling the sugar mixture, consider extending the time to around 5 minutes until it reaches a light caramel color. Constant stirring is crucial to achieve a shiny and glossy texture, ensuring a smooth and firm texture once the fudge sets. Adding just a drop of vanilla is sufficient to lightly scent the fudge mixture; excessive amounts can overpower the chocolate flavor, resulting in a taste reminiscent of chocolate cookies or cake rather than the rich and deep chocolatey goodness expected from fudge.

I had to adjust the recipe by halving it due to a shortage of marshmallows. Lacking milk chocolate chips and unsweetened chocolate squares, I improvised by using 1 cup of semi-sweet chocolate chips, 3 tablespoons of cocoa, an additional tablespoon of butter, and a bit of confectioner's sugar to compensate. Since I made a smaller portion, I opted for an 8" x 8" pan. The result was fantastic!! Intensely chocolatey and velvety! This recipe is definitely a winner.

This dessert is simply amazing! We made it on a whim one evening when the whole family was craving something sweet. I didn't have all the ingredients on hand, so I had to make a few substitutions. Instead of marshmallows, I used 1.5 cups of marshmallow creme. Also, I only had semi-sweet chocolate chips, so I used a 12 oz bag of those and skipped the milk chocolate chips. Even with the changes, it turned out fantastic and we all thoroughly enjoyed it!

I must say, this fudge is hands down the best I've ever tasted! The texture was incredibly creamy and just right. I decided to swap out the semi-sweet and milk chocolate chips for dark chocolate in one batch, and white chocolate chips in the other, which turned out to be a great choice. The recipe was simple and quick to follow, and I'm already looking forward to making it again next year. Thank you!

Sure! Here is a rewritten version of your review: "I've made this recipe twice now. The first time, I accidentally forgot to add the butter, but surprisingly, it turned out great! The second time, I followed the recipe and added the butter, but found the fudge to be too soft for my liking. I recommend skipping the butter altogether. Also, I only used semi-sweet chocolate chips, and it gave the fudge a darker and more intense flavor. If you prefer a richer taste, this is the way to go."

This recipe was easy to follow and execute, although the fudge turned out a bit soft. Adding more powdered sugar during the final mixing might help improve the texture. Despite this, the fudge was still delicious - after all, who can resist fudge? I decided to make a second batch using dark chocolate cocoa powder and it was absolutely fantastic.

I recently made the best and simplest chocolate fudge ever! My entire family absolutely adores it. The texture is perfect. I had to substitute cocoa powder for unsweetened chocolate since that's what I had available, and I also took a reviewer's suggestion to line the pan with wax paper for easier cutting and cleaning. Such a fantastic result!

If your fudge turned out grainy, it may be due to not dissolving the sugar in the milk properly. Also, make sure to use mini marshmallows as recommended, as they can make a difference. It's worth noting that all fudge will have a slight grainy texture, as it's not meant to be like brownies. I found this recipe to be excellent, with the only modification being that I omitted the nuts. Fudge is meant to be incredibly sweet and decadent, which is why it's typically cut into small pieces.

I have tried this recipe multiple times. I must say that if you're not a fan of rich food, this might not be the best choice for you. Those who ended up with a grainy texture most likely made a mistake somewhere. Personally, my dish turned out grainy when I used 2% milk instead of whole milk.

I had high expectations for this, but unfortunately it didn't meet them. This fudge tastes just like melted chocolate chips, lacking the rich flavor of real homemade fudge. If you're unfamiliar with authentic fudge, you might not notice the difference, but for those who have tried the real deal, I suggest passing on this recipe and sticking to cocoa with a candy thermometer. It may require more effort, but the end result is definitely worth it.

This fudge was mediocre. It had a strange taste to it. Not sure if I would give it another go.

Delicious fudge! It was a big hit at our Christmas dinner. This recipe makes a generous amount of fudge and it's wonderfully sweet.
