Air Fryer Oreos Recipe

Cook Time: 10 minutes

Ingredients

  • cup pancake mix
  • cup water
  • Cooking spray
  • 9 chocolate sandwich cookies (such as Oreo)
  • 1 tablespoon confectioners' sugar, or to taste

Directions

  1. Preheat the air fryer to 400F (200C).
  2. Line the air fryer basket with parchment paper and spray the paper with cooking spray.
  3. In a bowl, combine the pancake mix and water. Stir until the mixture is smooth and well blended.
  4. Dip each chocolate sandwich cookie into the pancake batter, ensuring it is fully coated.
  5. Place the coated cookies in the prepared air fryer basket. Arrange them so they are not touching. If necessary, cook in batches.
  6. Air fry the cookies for 4 to 5 minutes. Then, flip them over and cook for an additional 2 to 3 minutes until they are golden brown and crisp.
  7. Remove the cookies from the air fryer and transfer them to a cooling rack.
  8. Once cooled, lightly dust the cookies with confectioners' sugar for a sweet finishing touch.

I tried using Bisquick for these pancakes and they turned out incredibly delicious. They were also super easy to prepare! My family loved them, so I will definitely be making them again.

I substituted milk for water and the result was a flavor identical to deep fried Oreos.

Given the measurements provided, the consistency of the batter resembled dough more than expected. Even following the instructions precisely did not yield the desired fluffy result shown in the picture. This recipe appears to be slightly inaccurate, requiring some adjustments to achieve the intended outcome. Nonetheless, the end result was still satisfactory.

Substituted milk for water. The taste wasn't what I expected, but they turned out well!
