YUMMY!!! Due to food allergies, I made some substitutions in this recipe. I used maple syrup instead of brown sugar (and skipped the white sugar), opted for only an egg yolk, and used cinnamon as the only spice. I also added a pinch of salt. The extra liquid meant I needed to microwave it for 2 minutes and 30 seconds. Absolutely LOVE it!!!

My mug cake turned out strange and gooey. Even after microwaving it for 1 minute and 15 seconds, it wasn't fully baked. I had to cook it for another 1 minute and 15 seconds, but it still wasn't done. It might work for others, but it didn't work out for me. Maybe it was the mug I used?
