This was excellent! Since I only had vanilla protein powder, I added a few extra tsps of the cocoa powder (2 tsp would have been fine). Can't go wrong with all of these healthy ingredients! It was the perfect amount for one serving. I'll surely make again! UPDATE 5/14/20: I had whole milk and whole plain Greek yogurt to use up so I did half of each for the milk. For the rest, did same as before. Yummy smoothie!

Flavor is great. Texture is too runny for me and it wasn’t cold enough. Next time I made it, I froze the banana in slices first, and doubled the ice cubes, and it came out colder and thicker which is my personal preference (more like a milkshake consistency). Delicious with these modifications. Came in handy for liquid diet after dental procedure. Nice and filling

This is yummy. I used a 'frozen' banana so it reduced the amount of ice. B/c I need fiber I added 1/4 of quick oats, used honey to sweeten and a half of an avocado (reduces cholesterol). This will be a staple in my home. Thanks for sharing!!

Delicious!! I drink this a few times a week now after workouts. I use 2tsp cocoa powder otherwise it is a little overpowering. I also recommend using gold standard whey protein chocolate as the protein powder.

This was delicious! I didn't have any protein powder left so I just made it without. I modified it a little by I using a frozen banana, unsweetened almond milk, added 1/2 an avocado and some extra unsweetened cocoa because I like a richer chocolate flavor. Great recipe!

Very tasty. I used a frozen banana instead of ice. Also used 3/4 cup oatmilk instead of regular milk and added 2 shots of espresso. Yum.

Consistency was great, good taste, and very simple! I switched out traditional peanut butter for the PBfit peanut butter powder which I highly recommend for smoothies!

I have a honey allergy so I omitted the honey and unsweetened cocoa powder. I made it with chocolate milk to give it the extra chocolate flavour it would otherwise be missing but I didn't want all the extra sugars so I used only 1/2 cup and added extra ice (I like a thick shake). My brand of protein powder packs a good chocolate punch so I tried the recipe again without the chocolate milk and it still tasted like it had a nice balance of chocolate-PB-banana . I don't know what the original version tastes like but if you've got a good protein powder you can skip the honey & cocoa. That's what they do at the gym.

I've been looking for a recipe to make my really sweet protein powder appetizing, It was really hopeful about this one. But I found that when I blended this it turned it into a giant foamy mass. I guess since I use whey protein, that's a normal issue getting around that, it made my usually 12 oz ish breakfast about 30 oz of foam. . Next time I will try blending everything but the protein powder in first, and then slowly adding the protein powder and blending on low at the end.

Very good after a tough workout. I didn’t have the protein powder so I doubled the peanut butter and added an extra teaspoon of the coco powder to make it not as peanuty.

I was tired of my boyfriend ordering $15 smoothies every day so I searched up his favorite smoothie ingredients and came across this recipe. He said this was even better! I used frozen bananas too.

I added oats, collagen, and flax seeds! Next time I may also add Greek yogurt. I didn’t add any additional sweetener though, the banana and chocolate protein powder is sweet enough for me! And i didn’t use honey

A keeper! I didn’t have chocolate protein powder but had a vanilla Fairlife vanilla shake. I submitted the 1 cup of milk with 1/2 cup of the shake and 1/2 cup of 2% milk and added a little bit more cocoa powder to compensate for the lack of chocolate powder protein. Came out delicious, thanks!

I'm not the biggest fan of chocolate milkshakes but I bought this chocolate collagen powder mix and I really didn't like it on its own, so I tried it with this recipe and it makes it taste way better!!
