Oh my goodness! Absolutely scrumptious. This dish was a huge hit with both adults and kids. I decided to make a bit more of the topping, and following suggestions from other reviewers, I baked it for an additional 10 minutes. Served it with a dollop of Cool Whip. I borrowed a trick from another recipe and incorporated 1/2 tsp of orange zest. While I can't definitively say it altered the flavor, the end result was incredibly delicious.

I recommend using French toast bread for this recipe. Start by buttering the bottom of the pan. Sprinkle pecans evenly on the bread, then pour the brown sugar and butter mixture over it. Place a tray underneath the pan as it may overflow during baking. (I didn't toast the pecans)

This experience was truly wonderful! I opted for a vanilla caramel coffee creamer instead of half-and-half and reduced the amount of vanilla by half – the result was a hit with everyone! This French toast was so delicious that no syrup was necessary – it was absolutely perfect!

Oh my goodness, this is amazing! However, it is quite decadent. Such a delightful indulgence. I followed the instructions precisely, but I decided to cube the bread and mix it into the egg mixture before pouring it into the pan. Thank you for sharing this recipe.

Delicious! I substituted egg beaters and fat-free half and half and the result was fantastic. I also added cinnamon and dried cherries. I would definitely make it again anytime!

Absolutely delicious! I followed the recipe precisely, only substituting gluten-free bread. I prepared it for my dad and husband. Surprisingly, my dad couldn't even tell it was gluten-free because it was incredibly tasty! It was a breeze to make, and the toasted nuts added a nice touch of saltiness. Yum yum!

Disaster struck! The middle of the dish was disappointingly soggy, despite the edges and top looking well-done. I meticulously followed the recipe, and consider myself an adept cook.

Delicious and decadent. I prepared this dish for two special brunches over the holiday season. My son enjoyed it so immensely that he requested his wife recreate it for Christmas morning.
