I substituted two tablespoons of pecans for walnuts and almonds since that's what I had available. I let it refrigerate overnight for breakfast this morning, sprinkling a bit of cinnamon on top before eating. It turned out to be absolutely delicious! The crunchy Granny Smith apple in this overnight oatmeal was a delightful touch - incredibly tasty.

Absolutely delicious! I often enjoy this dish in Europe and it's meant to have a soft texture, unlike granola. I suggest omitting the brown sugar as it's unnecessary. Opt for Greek yogurt over the fat-free version and let it sit overnight for optimal results. Utilizing a ripe banana enhances the flavor. Before serving, mix in some additional yogurt (about 1/4 cup per serving) and top with raspberries or blueberries. Highly recommend trying this recipe out!

This recipe is absolutely divine and a breeze to whip up. I decided to chop the apples finely in my food processor for smaller pieces. I also reduced the amount of honey and brown sugar by half to suit my preference for less sweetness. I will definitely be making this again!

I opted out of using honey, orange juice, or brown sugar for this recipe. Instead, I substituted with a cinnamon and stevia blend that I always have on hand. I reduced the amount of milk to achieve a slightly chewier texture to my oatmeal, rather than a mushy consistency. If you prefer a thinner consistency, you can always add more milk in the morning. To enhance the flavor, I included pumpkin seeds and Craisins, and I agree with another reviewer that grated apples are a necessary addition. Grating the apples was a breeze with my Cuisinart. Overall, this dish turned out to be delicious. For my next attempt, I plan to experiment with using fat-free Half and Half to elevate the dish to a new level.

This recipe serves as a fantastic foundation. I prefer using regular oatmeal over quick oats, although the thickness can vary between brands; I find a thinner cut works best for this dish. Experimented with Greek yogurt, but it resulted in a texture that was too dense for my liking. I opt out of using honey or brown sugar. My preferred mix-ins are diced pear with cranberries or dried cherries. It creates a nutritious, filling breakfast that can be prepared in advance, and it's also gluten-free.

Delicious! Although some reviewers mentioned that the apples are usually grated, I chose to chop them into small pieces and I really enjoyed it. I added a dash of cinnamon and skipped the bananas to prevent them from browning or becoming mushy. It turned out very tasty, and I make it frequently now.

I recently tried a variation of the classic Swiss Bircher Muesli that's typically made with grated apples. While there are countless ways to customize it, I've never come across one in Switzerland that includes chopped apples. My version includes a mix of milk and yogurt, along with whatever fresh fruits are in season - whether it's strawberries, blackberries, or even blueberries. I skip the nuts and other extras, opting instead for a simple combination of grated apples, oats, milk or yogurt to soften it to my liking. For a less mushy consistency, I reduce the amount of milk, and I sweeten it with stevia. It's a delicious and versatile breakfast option that's easy to customize to your taste preferences.

This Muesli recipe is anything but ordinary! If you're tired of the usual dry Muesli, then you're in for a treat with this delicious breakfast option. I was in the mood for a change from regular oatmeal, and this creamy version hit the spot. I made a few tweaks by skipping the banana and opting for golden raisins, adding 1/4 cup of plain Greek yogurt, and using 1 cup of orange juice. Such a delightful twist on a classic recipe!

Due to missing some ingredients like nuts, raisins, whole milk, and orange juice, I opted for a tropical twist. I used coconut milk, shredded coconut, and a splash of lemon juice as substitutes. I also boosted the protein content by adding a tablespoon of Chia seeds.

My family really enjoys this delicious summer breakfast. If it's too thick, simply mix in some milk before serving. I personally like to garnish it with freshly chopped peaches or strawberries.

I absolutely adore this oatmeal for a simple breakfast option. I prepare a batch that lasts me for 4 days. I like to add 2 cups of milk because the oatmeal tends to soak up a lot of liquid.
