Original recipe (1X) yields 12 servings
- cup unsalted butter, melted
- 2 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 tablespoon minced garlic
- 1 (8 ounce) package refrigerated crescent roll dough (such as Pillsbury)
- teaspoon Italian seasoning
- teaspoon ground black pepper or to taste
- 1 teaspoon paprika
Directions
- Preheat the oven to 375F (190C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a small bowl, combine melted butter, grated Parmesan cheese, and minced garlic.
- Open the package of crescent roll dough, but do not unroll it. Use a serrated knife to cut the dough into 12 equal pieces.
- Place the dough slices onto the prepared baking sheet.
- Using a brush, coat the dough with the garlic butter mixture, ensuring each slice is evenly covered.
- Sprinkle the dough with Italian seasoning, black pepper, and paprika to taste.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 16 to 20 minutes, or until the slices are golden brown.

I sprinkled some shredded mozzarella and Mexican blend cheese on top after baking for 10 minutes (my oven tends to run hot) and popped it under the broiler for about 3 minutes. The result was absolutely delicious!

I enjoyed it, but I felt it lacked enough garlic flavor for my taste. Overall, I believe it's a solid recipe.
