"This adds such a great, versatile flavor. Aside from halving the salt, I follow it as written and it's wonderful on burgers (beef, turkey, even soy patties), chicken, and pork. This is now my go-to seasoning," says Jessica.
"This seasoning is great! I didn't just use it in my hamburger but I added it to meatloaf, stew, and even in vegetables like corn. My husband raved about the corn! I adjusted the cayenne to suit my daughters taste and she loved it too," raves Lisa Ingram.

I cut this down to four servings for the Actually Delicious Turkey Burgers, which is also from this site. I cut back the salt to just a pinch as we're trying to cut back quite a bit on excess salt. Great hamburger seasoning. Wait, TURKEY burger seasoning. I'll use this often. (Oh! I also used Splenda Brown Sugar Blend instead of plain brown sugar.) EDITED: I use this now as my basic go-to grill seasoning. Works great for us.

I like to buy 90% or leaner ground beef which doesn’t have a lot of flavor, and this spice mixture makes great tasting BURGERS! Other seasoning mixes I’ve tried in the past had too much of a meatloaf or meatball flavor-not what I want in a burger. I halved the recipe (4 servings) as a test batch in case I didn’t like it. I took the advice of other reviewers and mixed 2 tsp into a pound of 92% lean ground beef and formed four 4 ounce patties. I sprinkled the remaining spice mix right on the patties and grilled them. Delicious and didn’t taste like meatloaf on a bun! I imagine this mix would also work very well with ground turkey, which is so bland in both taste and color. Thanks so much for the recipe!

Great seasoning with one minor change. Use smoked paprika instead of regular. This takes it to another level and gives your burger a subtle smokey aroma and flavor. Steakhouse quality.

This blend was AMAZING! Changes I made: 1 tsp of salt, 1 1/2 tsps of brown sugar and no cayenne (because I don't have any in the house). I used 2 tsps mixed into 1 lb of ground beef and sprinkled about 1/2 tsp on each side of each burger. This is definitely a keeper. I may add chili powder next time for a little extra kick.

This seasoning made my hamburgers The BEST! I will never prepare hamburgers without using this seasoning again. I had 3.15 lb of ground beef. I used the entire seasoning amount. I did not have onion powder, so used dried minced onions. I used about two teaspoons of that. I used 80% lean beef, and they were juicy and fantastic!

This was so yummy! I've made this a bunch and the only thing I did differently was to use smoked paprika instead of regular. The smoked paprika gives it just a little extra goodness.

I was looking for a spice blend to perk up our hamburgers and this was absolutely on point!!! I reduced the salt a little and used grass-fed beef and grilled the burgers by basting them in garlic butter. My husband declared that these burgers were the best he's ever had from our grill and we've been married 35 years!

Have used the recipe exactly as described for 6-8 patties several times and it is delicious. This last time, I had to cook for more people so I doubled the recipe and after quickly browning each patty for 45 seconds on high heat, I placed them in the oven at 425 and baked them for about 17 minutes in a little bit of bacon grease. (I had cooked some bacon so we could have bacon cheeseburgers.). They were still delicious and an option for those that can’t grill.

The family loves it and says it's a keeper "as written." Next time though, I will decrease the black pepper to about 1/2 tsp only because to me that one flavor stood out from the rest and I'm not overly fond of it; just my own preference. I mixed about 1 tsp seasoning mix into 1/2 lb. of ground sirloin prior to pan frying in a T of unsalted butter, then had some of the mix on the table for each to add to taste. It was surprising how much more flavor just that little bit added. Thanks for a super recipe Stacey!

This was really good! I was cooking the burgers on the stove for lunch, so I added 2 teaspoons of liquid hickory smoke and just a tablespoon of the mix. Delicious! We will do this again!!

Added an extra teaspoon of brown sugar. Helps form a nice caramel coating.

Keep coming back to these ingredients for my burgers. This flavoring with all the only things I put on burgers, makes them restaurant quality tasting. No lie!

I mix it in with the whole pound of ground Wagyu or Bison and the flavor is outstanding.

If you're making your own patties (I do because I grind spare ribs together with the ground beef for a more flavorful burger) then just mix the seasoning right in to penetrate the whole burger. It's amazing! I don't like cayenne so I omit and I increase the brown sugar to 3/4 tsp because I LOVE sweet and savory! This is great guide!

This is my 3rd time using this for my hamburger patties and it's really good. I only cook for two so I halved the recipe for 2 patties and it give it extra flavor
