Original recipe (1X) yields 4 servings

  • 2 teaspoons butter
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1 (7.6 ounce) can canned table cream (Media Crema)
  • teaspoon freshly ground white pepper
  • teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese

Directions

  1. In a saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat.
  2. Add the minced garlic to the pan and saut until fragrant, about 30 seconds.
  3. Stir in the canned cream, salt, and pepper, and heat the mixture through.
  4. Gradually mix in the Parmesan cheese, adding cup at a time, stirring well after each addition until smooth.

Cook's Note

If using the sauce for pasta, add 3 tablespoons of pasta water to thin the sauce to your desired consistency.
