Grilled Spaghetti Sandwich Recipe
This delicious Spaghetti Sandwich combines the richness of melted mozzarella cheese with the heartiness of pasta, all packed in a toasty hoagie roll. Perfect for a comforting meal in no time.
Ingredients
- cup butter
- Garlic powder, to taste
- 2 hoagie rolls
- 8 thin slices mozzarella cheese
- 2 cups cold cooked spaghetti
- 1 cup spaghetti sauce
Directions
Step 1: In a large skillet, melt the butter with garlic powder over medium heat, allowing the flavors to infuse into the butter.
Step 2: Slice off the top and bottom crusts of each hoagie roll to make space for the filling. Brush the cut sides generously with the garlic-flavored butter.
Step 3: Open the hoagie rolls and layer the insides with mozzarella cheese slices.
Step 4: In a separate bowl, mix the cold cooked spaghetti and spaghetti sauce together. Divide the mixture evenly between the hoagie rolls, placing it on top of the cheese.
Step 5: Close the rolls around the cheese and pasta, forming a sandwich. Grill the sandwiches in the skillet for about 5 minutes on each side, or until the cheese has melted completely and the rolls are golden brown.
Step 6: Serve your delicious spaghetti sandwich hot and enjoy!
