Peach Sangria Recipe

Ingredients

  • 4 large fresh peaches, peeled, pitted, and sliced
  • 1 cup hot water
  • cup light brown sugar
  • 1 pinch ground cinnamon
  • 2 cups dry white wine
  • cup triple sec liqueur
  • 1 (750 milliliter) bottle sparkling white wine, chilled

Directions

  1. Place the peaches, hot water, light brown sugar, and cinnamon into a blender or food processor. Blend until smooth.
  2. Transfer the mixture to a pitcher, then stir in the dry white wine and triple sec liqueur.
  3. Cover the pitcher and refrigerate for at least 4 hours to chill.
  4. After chilling, strain the peach mixture through a large sieve lined with cheesecloth, making sure to squeeze the cloth to extract all the juice.
  5. Pour the juice into a clean pitcher and gently stir in the chilled sparkling white wine.
  6. Serve cold and enjoy!

Cook's Note

Save the strained peach pulp for other uses, like adding it to quick breads or smoothies.
