Garlic Shrimp Linguine Recipe
Cook Time: 20 minutes
Ingredients
- 1 pound uncooked linguine pasta
- 1 tablespoon butter
- 3 tablespoons white wine
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 teaspoons grated Parmesan cheese, plus more for serving
- 1 teaspoon chopped fresh parsley, plus more for garnish
- Salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste
- 1 pound medium shrimp, peeled and deveined
Directions
- Gather all ingredients and have them ready.
- Bring a large pot of lightly salted water to a boil. Add the linguine and cook until tender but still firm to the bite, about 11 minutes. Drain the pasta once done.
- In a medium saucepan, melt the butter over medium-low heat. Add the white wine, minced garlic, grated Parmesan cheese, and chopped parsley. Season with salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste. Simmer, stirring frequently, for about 3 to 5 minutes.
- Increase the heat to medium-high and add the shrimp to the saucepan. Cook until the shrimp turns pink, about 3 to 4 minutes. Be careful not to overcook the shrimp.
- Divide the cooked linguine into 8 bowls. Spoon the shrimp and sauce mixture on top of the pasta. Garnish with additional Parmesan cheese and parsley.
- Serve and enjoy!

Editors Tip: If you like, you can add 5 ounces of baby spinach to the dish. Just add it after cooking the shrimp and remove the pan from heat to let the spinach wilt without overcooking the shrimp.
