Air Fryer Potstickers Recipe

Air Fryer Potstickers Recipe

Cook Time: 25 minutes

Ingredients

  • pound ground pork
  • 1 (4 ounce) can water chestnuts, drained and chopped
  • 1 (4 ounce) can shiitake mushrooms, drained and chopped
  • 2 tablespoons sesame oil
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon Sriracha sauce
  • 1 (12 ounce) package round dumpling wrappers

Directions

  1. Preheat the air fryer to 400F (200C).
  2. In a large skillet over medium-high heat, combine the ground pork, water chestnuts, shiitake mushrooms, sesame oil, soy sauce, and Sriracha sauce. Cook and stir until the pork becomes crumbly and is no longer pink, about 6 minutes.
  3. Remove from heat and let the mixture cool for about 5 minutes, or until it is cool enough to handle.
  4. On a clean work surface, lay out 8 dumpling wrappers. Place a heaping teaspoon of the pork mixture in the center of each wrapper.
  5. Fold both sides of each wrapper like a taco, then pinch the tops together to seal the dumplings.
  6. Place the dumplings in the preheated air fryer and cook for 3 minutes. After 3 minutes, use tongs to flip the potstickers and cook for another 3 minutes.
  7. Once cooked, transfer the dumplings to a paper towel-lined plate to absorb any excess oil.
  8. Repeat the filling, folding, and cooking steps until all the pork mixture is used up.

Recipe Tip

You can find round dumpling wrappers at most Asian grocery stores.

Awful. These are not "potstickers" in the sense of steamed dumplings which are pan fried. They are terrible. Not worth the time, effort or cost of ingredients. Spare yourself and buy the frozen ones or from a restaurant. The outside is like bad wonton strips fried for the tops of Asian salads, and the filling is not good.
