made this tonight.but i tweaked it some. i used some olive oil and the butter to brown the chops..i also added sliced red onion, fresh garlic, and splash of red wine while they cooked..i didnt have wild rice, so i used a pkg chicken flavor rice, couldnt even tell. to top it all off in the bowls, i added shredded colby jack cheese..it was da bomb!!

Used chicken instead (3 decent sized breasts) seasoned with Adobo seasoning as I cooked it. Water didn't seem like enough, so I added about 2C of chicken broth. Also added Adobo seasoning to the liquid for more (yet subtle) flavor. Rice mix didn't seem like enough, so I added a handful of red quinoa. Used frozen shoepeg corn (heated up first), as well as a pkg of frozen creamed spinach (again, heated up first). Came out AAAAA-MAZING!!! Definitely a keeper!

Made this tonight. Made some changes, used tomato paste instead of diced or chopped, coated the pork chops in Italian seasoning, also cut them into strips before cooking.

Super tasty! Something different to do with pork chops. I used frozen instead of canned corn so used two cups of water instead of 1 and 1/4. If you don’t have Italian flavored diced tomatoes you can add a bit of Italian seasoning, that works too!

Delicious! I did make some changes because of what I had on hand. I had some leftover rice. I used 2 cups. No Italian tomatoes, just regular diced tomatoes. I sautéed 1 onion and some garlic, added the undrained tomatoes, drained corn, some Italian seasoning, a teas of beef bullion, simmered for a bit. Then put in the browned pork chops, whole. I think I will dice them up next time. I put all in the oven and baked, covered, for 30 min. I didn't use any water since my rice was already cooked. Very nice weekday meal. Thank You!

I love recipes like this.... I msde mine with some "scrap pork "... It was like pieces of pork .. very inexpensive im not ashamed to say i used cream corn rather than whole corn which added some moisture and sweetness. One other thing, my hubby doesnt like tomatoes so i used them canned potatoes and fried them up in a separate pan before putting them on top. For rice i used the 5 minute rice .. 1 cup rice one cup water...this cut the cook time. Down to less than 15 mins :) i added extra salt. I love this recipe because it can be tweaked in so many different ways. Hubby suggested we try it with ground beef :).

Very good recipe, so nice and easy. I was serving corn on cob as a side so I omitted the can of corn in the recipe. Used basmati rice rather than the wild rice & herbs and I added 1/4 tsp herbs de provence, 1/4 tsp smoked paprika, and pinch of sea salt and pinch of pepper. It was very tasty and my whole family enjoyed it.

As I was making this I kept tasting and found myself wanting more flavor. I used beef stock instead of water, diced Italian tomatoes, fresh garlic and Tapatio sauce, salt and pepper. It tasted much better with the additions

This is a very versatile recipe that leaves you open to lots of options depending on what you have on hand. As suggested, I substituted cooked chicken breasts for the pork as that's what I had in the house. I've also substituted or added broccoli, carrots and peas. Easy and good. It's a keeper. My leftovers reheated well for lunch the following day.

Oh my this was good! I added one seasoning packet of sazon Goya and salt and peppered the chops. I didn't cook the chops for as long. Otherwise I followed the recipe. This was very good. Next time I will use spices my boys like a little heat.

SImply and easy and gives plenty of leftovers for the week for my wife and I. We use the pre cubed pork chops because it makes it so much quicker. All you have to do is heat up the chops and add stuff without having to cut everything up.

Quick and easy. Very customizable. Will def save and make again using different veg and maybe rotelle or salsa next time. Could even be used a burrito filling.

I thought it was great. The only thing I had to do differently was add about 1/3 cup of additional water to keep it from drying out.

This recipe for Pork Chop Skillet is a keeper! I loved it! I cooked it exactly like the recipe but used an 8 ounce rice package instead of a 6 ounce. I will cook it again like this. In time I may try different meat and vegetables. You can't go wrong with this meal.

I wanted to try something different with pork chops, this recipe is easy and delicious. The only change, I added sea salt and freshly ground pepper. Husband loved it, this is going to stay in my favorites.

It came out pretty good..I used yellow rice already premixed with the Spanish seasonings..the pork was very tender and not chewy..dish is perfect just as is
