  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 tablespoon minced garlic
  • 3 cups water
  • 4 medium white potatoes, peeled and diced
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • cup chopped celery
  • 1 tablespoon dried parsley
  • 1 teaspoon dried rosemary
  • 1 teaspoon ground thyme
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • Salt and ground black pepper to taste

Directions

Step 1: In a large saucepan, cook and stir the ground beef and minced garlic over medium-high heat. Stir occasionally and cook for 5 to 7 minutes, until the beef is browned and crumbly.

Step 2: Add 3 cups of water to the pot. Then, add the peeled and diced potatoes, chopped onion, chopped celery, parsley, rosemary, thyme, and oregano. Stir to combine all the ingredients.

Step 3: Reduce the heat to a simmer and let the mixture cook for about 30 minutes, or until the potatoes are tender. Stir occasionally to ensure even cooking.

Step 4: Season the soup with salt and black pepper to taste. Stir well and adjust the seasoning as needed.
