Gorgonzola Pear Pasta Recipe

Original recipe (1X) yields 2 servings:
- 9 ounces penne pasta
- 2 tablespoons butter
- cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 3 tablespoons crumbled Gorgonzola cheese
- cup heavy whipping cream
- 1 large pear, peeled and cubed
- cup chopped toasted walnuts
- Ground black pepper, to taste
Directions
Step 1: Bring a large pot of lightly salted water to a rolling boil.
Step 2: Add the penne pasta to the boiling water. Stir occasionally and cook until the pasta is tender but still firm to the bite, about 11 minutes. Drain the pasta.
Step 3: Return the drained pasta to the pot. Stir in the butter, Parmesan cheese, and Gorgonzola cheese. Place the pot over medium heat and cook until the cheese is completely melted.
Step 4: Pour the heavy whipping cream into the pasta mixture and stir to combine.
Step 5: Remove the pot from the heat and gently fold in the cubed pear.
Step 6: Top with the chopped toasted walnuts and season with ground black pepper to taste.
Step 7: Serve immediately and enjoy your delicious meal!
