3-Ingredient Oreo Balls Recipe
Ingredients:
- 1 (14 ounce) package Oreo cookies, crushed
- 1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese, at room temperature
- 1 (12 ounce) package vanilla-flavored almond bark, or as needed
Directions:
- Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a bowl, mix the crushed Oreo cookie crumbs and softened cream cheese together until well combined.
- Roll the mixture into small balls and arrange them on the prepared baking sheet.
- Place the baking sheet in the freezer and freeze the cookie balls for about 1 hour, or until solid.
- While the cookie balls are freezing, melt the almond bark. Place it in the top of a double boiler over simmering water. Stir frequently and scrape down the sides with a rubber spatula to prevent scorching.
- Once the almond bark is melted, dip each cookie ball into the melted almond bark, using two forks to remove them. This helps the excess almond bark drip back into the boiler.
- Arrange the coated cookie balls back onto the baking sheet and refrigerate for about 10 minutes, or until the coating has firmed up.
Cooks Note:
For an extra touch, drizzle some chocolate almond bark over the top of the cookie balls. Alternatively, you can dip the balls in chocolate almond bark if you want a fully chocolate-covered treat.

These also taste great when you use the mint flavored Oreos.

This Christmas surprise treat was added to our traditional (in demand) recipes of buckeyes, orange balls, rolo pretzels w/m&m’s and/or pecan tops... and, wow! Everyone loved them. I chose to dip balls into melted dark chocolate (candy chips) one at a time, quickly sprinkling with various holiday colors of sprinkles. Chilled then drizzled melted white chocolate chips (through bagged tip) atop sprinkled balls. Very festive!

So easy and delicious! Melted Hershey’s Kisses instead of almond bark to coat Oreo balls then sprinkled crushed candy canes on top. After coating each ball placed them in mini muffin/cupcake wrappers. Great recipe!

I've been making these for years! Like another reviewer, I use a food processor, then freeze the dough for about 15 minutes before making the balls. I used mint oreos last year, this year I found peppermint ones! Everyone loves these, especially with a drizzle of chocolate or sprinkles on top.

I can never find almond bark so I dipped in melted chocolate chips. Used mint Oreos for half (doubled recipe). Put cookies in food processor with cream cheese. Freezing well.

Used the blender to crush the Oreos, then mixed in the cream cheese with my hands. Put them on a wax paper-lined pan in the freezer for an hour. Melted the white chocolate in the microwave and used two forks as suggested to dip the Oreo balls into the white chocolate. Since these were for Christmas, I sprinkled a little bit of red and green sugar on the top (must be sprinkled on right away as soon as taken out of the white chocolate before it hardens). Delicious, very, very rich! I now see why the mint oreos would be good as well. I may try that next time.

I make these every year at the request of my kids. We’ve made regular, mint, and lemon (I had to buy a different brand because the only lemon Oreos I could find were the thins and those won’t work for this.) They can be made with any sandwich cookie, really. This year we are making Nutter Butter ones, too.

18 cookies at a time x 2 in food processor. When crumby, add half of the cream cheese. Becomes very fine. Small scoop yields approx 48 balls.

I make these all the time! I like using mint Oreos as well. I put mine in the freezer after putting chocolate on top. I am not a big fan of Oreos but I love these! In my opinion, I like it better with out chocolate on top! Ty for the recipe!

These turned out great! I used white chocolate morsels instead of vanilla almond bark. Honestly I could have used 2 12oz bags of white chocolate morsels to fully cover the Oreo balls better. But taste awesome!

The concept of this recipe is great, but if you don't like white chocolate (like me) then just use milk chocolate and it will still be one of the favorite desserts for the occasion!

I made these last Christmas and since we are all Lemon fans I made them with the Lemon Oreo's and put a drop or two of lemon concentrated flavoring into the dipping mixture and they are now our favorite Christmas cookie. Everyone thought I bought them at a gourmet cookie store. Sprinkled the top with yellow sugar crystals.

I keep a supply of these in the freezer year round! The best smallest dessert there is!

This recipe is so easy to make. 1 pkg (14.5 oz) of oreos has 36 cookies. The mix was just right. Crush the cookies well. My kids and friends all loved them.

Excellent! I've made these for years but have used regular chocolate for dipping. The vanilla flavored almond bark changed everything! It's a crunchy outside with a creamy inside. Really good! I had to make these twice this holiday season since everyone wanted more.

Very sticky and hard to roll into the balls.
